W2Wise is a tax withholding estimation tool. You enter paycheck data, and we project your year-end federal and state tax liability, refund, or amount owed. We also generate pre-filled W-4 forms based on those projections.

W2Wise provides estimates only. We are not a CPA, tax attorney, enrolled agent, or financial advisor. Our projections are based on 2025 tax brackets and standard deduction amounts. They do not account for every possible tax situation. You should consult a qualified tax professional before making financial decisions based on our estimates.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One person, one account.

The W2Wise dashboard and tax projections are free. Generating a pre-filled W-4 form costs $6.99 (one-time, per tax year). Tips are optional. All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

Because W-4 forms are delivered digitally and immediately, we generally do not offer refunds. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your W-4 after payment, contact us and we will resolve it.

You own your data. We store your paycheck information and tax profile in a secure database to provide the service. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We make reasonable efforts to keep tax brackets, rates, and calculation logic accurate and up to date. However, tax law changes, and we may not reflect every change immediately. We are not liable for inaccuracies in projections or W-4 recommendations.

Do not use W2Wise to generate fraudulent tax documents, scrape data, or interfere with other users. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

W2Wise is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to tax penalties, interest, or underpayment resulting from reliance on our estimates.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of W2Wise after changes constitutes acceptance. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page.
